This year, something really special happened—I was featured by the Fingal Local Enterprise Office in a case study about my business journey. It’s an honor to be recognized, and I want to share it with you to remind you to stay true to your vision—whether you’re just starting out or taking your business to the next level.
At the 10-year celebration of the Fingal Enterprising Women Network (FEWN), there was a moment I’ll never forget. When they asked, “Was anyone here when we started?” I was one of the only clients to put my hand up. I have been attending their events since the network began in 2015. It was a small gesture, but it made me feel truly seen and acknowledged—and it reminded me how far I’ve come.
Their case study has been shared on social media to inspire other women to create sustainable success. For those of us who are highly sensitive, it’s easy to stay behind the scenes, quietly running our businesses day by day. But part of my mission is to help other leaders and business owners step into the spotlight, lead with confidence, and embrace their purpose fully.
Here’s a little snippet from the case study:
“After leaving a successful corporate career in technology in 2004, she founded her own consulting business and has empowered hundreds of professionals to transform their mindset, claim their worth, and achieve both fulfilment and financial success. Guided by her spirituality and intuition—which have shaped key moments in her personal and professional journey—Fidelma draws on her strengths as a Highly Sensitive Leader: empathy, connection, problem-solving, and deep insight—to inspire others to step into their true potential.”

Sharing this feels important because it reminds us all that recognition matters, that visibility is powerful, and that embracing your sensitivity can be one of your greatest leadership strengths. I’d love to hear your thoughts—how do you step into the spotlight in your own work?
